Febe Bracelet

The Febe Bracelet in this picture is handmade using the lost-wax casting technique. It is cast in solid certified recycled bronze and it is gold plated in 3micron 18ct yellow gold.

This cuff shows the jeweller’s finger and tool marks to recreate an organic surface reassembling planets and the moon.
It has three carved stars and a pearl and it also has an hand-textured fluid look which goes like water around your wrist.

The bracelet top motif measures approximately 1.5x2.5cm with almost 2.5mm thickness, while the cuff itself is approximately 4-5mm thick.

The Febe cuff was inspired by warm summer nights spent admiring a starry sky by the sea, while appreciating the power of the Moon on the Maree (sea tide).

Febe takes its inspiration name from the Greek mythological Titan Goddess Phoebe, who was associated with the Moon and the Intellect and she has been linked to themes of enlightenment and guidance. She is also been connected to brightness, clarity and purity, the spirit of which is shown in this bracelet.
