La Dea Bendata Rope Charm Hoops

The La Dea Bendata ( blindfolded goddess ) charms twisted hoops in this picture are hand carved using the old age lost wax technique, casted in solid bronze and finally gold plated in 18ct yellow.

The charm measures approximately 2cm x 2cm x 0.3cm plus the handmade little rings.
The hoops measure 2.3cm in diameter.

La Dea Bendata Rope Charm Hoops were inspired by an antique charm passed down to me by my mother in my childhood and I have treasured it in all my travels and adventures of life.
These earrings show the jeweller’s fingers and tool marks to recreate a treasure rediscovered from a derelict vessel at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea.
The charm hanging from the twisted hoops represents The Goddess of Fortune who, blindfolded, gives direction and guidence during sailing, travelling and on our personal journey of life too. It also symbolises Love and Trust
