Ria Necklace

Ria Necklace has an handmade eight pointed star charm, which was originally carved in wax, then casted in certified recycled bronze and finally gold plated in 3 micron of 18 ct gold. The star is hanging from a necklace made of 3mm sodalite beads, gold-filled beads and freashwater pearls too.
The eight pointed star is associated with love, fertility and divinity.
It measures approx 2.5 x 1.8cm and it has a pearl set in the middle of it and a long freshwater pear hanging underneath. The reverse of the star is equally charming in its simplicity showing the tools and the maker's marks.

Sodalite is a deep blue stone interwined with delicate white calcite; it is associated with truth, logic, emotional balance and unlock deepened intuition.

Ria (shorthen for Asteria, who refers to the titan goddess of shooting stars and nighttime divination) necklace was born organically at my bench while playing around with some wax on return from our summer break. I was still having in my mind those nights that smell of wild fennel, sea lillies and beach campfire mixed with the sea breeze. There is one night in particular that was playing in my though...Stelle Cadenti...the night of shooting stars, when you make a wish for each one you spot in the dark sky.
Still the Ria necklace it is a timeless piece of jewellery and perfect for any season, descending trends and fashions.

Ria necklace measures approx cm drop including the 18 kt gold plated silver Albert Swivel clasp and it can be easily double up around your neck.
